This artwork is based on a circular design representing a medicine wheel. It was inspired by the owner's love of Chameleons and started with the idea of incorporating steampunk cogs and mechanical elements. However, it evolved into a more naturalistic theme, featuring roots and plants. The piece includes 7 smaller mechanical chameleons, each holding personal significance to the owner. Surrounding the central design are 12 circles, each representing a different aspect of the owner's life. Moving clockwise from the top, these include connections to spirituality, music, family roots, water, trust, acceptance, change, nature, art, fire, love, and compassion. The circles are connected by intertwining branches, symbolizing interconnected wisdoms in this person's life. The artwork took approximately 34 hours to complete over the course of 3 days. The artist had permission to share this piece by the owner.
This design was created for someone who adores their spiritual guide, the Great Horned Owl, and wanted it to be depicted in a steam-punk style for a tattoo. The design incorporates elements like the window to the heart, quills of creativity, and a focus on the North, all of which hold special significance for the owner. The piece was meticulously crafted over 14 hours across 2 days. Although it's not for sale because the owner wants it to be unique to them, I'd be thrilled to create a custom piece for you. I was permitted to share this piece by the owner.
This reflective piece of consciousness artwork holds a story of mixed emotions, triumphs, and failures. The top is a mix of black and white wolf yin yang, with the idea of balance and the question of who you choose to embrace in your life. Neither is good or bad, but without balance, you cannot stand. Then, you have the intertwined male and female transformation rising from roots that dig deep. This represents a trans individual who has learned to accept their past and bloomed into a new vision of themselves. The Moon and Sun are balanced in meaning and worth. The constellation is Leo the lion, seen as brave but often cautious and learning to control themselves to be tempered. The Hebrew is to honor Judaic wisdom, stories, and guidance. The Ohm represents the centered breath that must function for life to proceed. This is all over the four elements of life, each singular but requiring the others to intertwine and exist. The root is both male and female holding each other. The two people in the middle show strength, individuality, and trust.I was permitted to share this piece by the owner.
"This reflective piece was created for a gentleman who wanted to incorporate different elements of The True Gentleman. In the center is a Dove with an olive branch against the backdrop of the Jewish star. The Japanese writing is about Aikido. The hands reaching for connection symbolize Aikido and the connection between this person's family and his trust in his own beliefs."
